Brow Lamination vs Brow Tint: What's the Difference?

"Should I get my brows laminated or tinted?" is one of the questions we get asked most in the studio.

They solve different problems, and a lot of clients actually want both.

Brow tint adds colour. It's a semi-permanent dye that fills in sparse patches and defines your natural shape, lasting 2-4 weeks. Great if your brows are the right shape but too light or patchy to hold makeup well.

Brow lamination changes direction, not colour. It relaxes the hair so it can be brushed and set into a fuller, more uniform shape — the fluffy, feathered look that's everywhere right now. It lasts 6-8 weeks and works best on brows with some length to work with.

Many clients get both in the same appointment: lamination for shape, tint for colour, so the finished brow holds its shape and stays defined for weeks. Our Brow Lamination Kit and Professional Brow Tint Kit are both available to take home for touch-ups between salon visits.
